Road Work Party in the Manor:

A roadwork party took place on Saturday, December 9th. We filled and placed sandbags on upper Single Tree to repair erosion and lessen it in future storm events. After the sandbags were place, an equipment operator placed fill dirt over the bags. We've had good success with this technique. The bags really help reduce erosion in a big rain events, reducing repair costs which makes
money available to meet other road maintenance needs. We also made repairs to the water basins we created on the Dobbs property. They worked in the last storm but need some maintenance.
